LATIN MUSIC LEGENDS WEEKEND AT THE THAYER HOTEL - WEST
POINT, NY CELEBRATES A "PALLADIUM ERA LEGENDS REUNION"

Attention Mambo, Salsa and Latin music enthusiasts - you are invited to the 'Palladium-era Legends Reunion,' an exclusive music and dance event that reunites for the first time in over 40 years, Latin legends of the Palladium-era including the founding members of 'Orquesta Dicupe' with a special musical guest Palladium-era bassist Alfonso 'El Panameno' Joseph, and an unforgettable Mambo dance performance by the international Latin dancer 'Cuban Pete' performing Live on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Thayer Hotel, West Point, NY.

The Latin Legends Weekend, is the 2nd annual event sponsored and hosted by The Thayer Hotel. The event organizers and Masters of Ceremonies, Judy Battista of the 'Latin Jubilee Radio Show', and John Moultrie, Music Director of the hotel, introduced the Latin Legends theme which featured last year's successful event with Larry Harlow & his Latin Legends Band. This year's featured Latin Legends theme will be the 'Palladium Era.'

The featured artists are all cast members of the widely publicized and highly anticipated movie 'La Epoca,' (The Era) - a major national television production about the origins of Latin music and dance from the Palladium-era to present day. The film documents the evolution of Mambo, Salsa and the legacies of Latin legends such as Celia Cruz, Tito Puente and Arsenio Rodriguez and many others. The film also features interviews of many outstanding musicians in Latin music history. Executive Producer of 'La Epoca' film, Josue Joseph will be a guest speaker, as he has successfully united these artists from his film, for this special reunion in Orange County.

The 'Palladium-era Legends Reunion,' is an opportunity to experience these artists and guests up close and personal.
